Preparing for AI Disruption, Cyberattacks & Cascading Infrastructure Failures
This is not a prediction. It is a practical plan for keeping your household functioning if systems we normally depend on suddenly become unreliable.

Emergency Quick Cards
Power, water, food, fuel, communications and stay-or-leave decisions.

Payment, internet, cell, power, water, food, fuel, transportation, healthcare and simultaneous disruptions. Every card includes a no-cost action.

What we would have ready
Products first. The deeper explanations live on their own pages so you can get what you need without scrolling through an emergency textbook.
ZOLEO satellite communicator
Gives you a communication path that does not depend on ordinary cellular or Wi-Fi coverage.
Raddy SL10 emergency radio
AM/FM/NOAA reception plus multiple charging methods, light and backup phone power.
Portable power + solar
Keeps radios, phones, lights and other small essentials running when normal power is unreliable.
See backup power →Offline maps + a complete car kit
Downloaded maps, paper maps and basic vehicle preparedness give you options if live navigation, payments or roadside services are unavailable.
See the car kit →NIOSH-approved N95 + sealed goggles + nitrile gloves
A practical baseline for reducing exposure to some airborne biological particles and protecting eyes and hands. Goggles should actually cover and protect the eyes, not ordinary eyeglasses.
Full-face respiratory protection
For people who want a higher preparedness tier, full-face respiratory protection can combine eye and respiratory protection. The correct respirator, filter or canister depends on the hazard, so this is not a universal shield.

This is not about disappearing or doing anything shady. It is ordinary privacy. A properly sealed Faraday bag gives you a physical way to isolate a phone, key fob, tablet or laptop from cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and other radio signals when you do not want the device connected or reachable.
Phone-size Faraday bag
For one phone, a key fob or a few very small electronics, the Mission Darkness non-window phone bag is one of the least-expensive options we found with published lab-tested shielding standards.
5L–30L signal-blocking carry bag
If you want to throw several devices in one bag for a road trip, hotel stay, home storage or the car, Faraday Defense sells a roll-top sling pack in 5L, 10L, 20L and 30L sizes.
Mission Darkness laptop bag
A flatter option if the main goal is a laptop plus phones, drives, chargers or a tablet rather than a full travel bag.
Mission Darkness X2 Faraday duffel
For multiple laptops, tablets, phones and other bulky electronics, this is the large travel-style option we would move up to before spending $300–$900 on the premium Faraday duffels.
What a Faraday bag does, and what it does not do
When properly sealed, it blocks the wireless path between the device and the outside world. That can be useful for privacy, travel, storing spare electronics or temporarily isolating a device you do not trust.
It does not remove stalkerware, malware or a compromised account. If spyware is already on a phone, the phone may be unable to transmit while sealed but can reconnect once it comes back out. The FTC specifically warns that someone using stalkerware may notice changes you make, so if you believe an abusive person is monitoring a device, use a different trusted device to seek help or technical assistance.
Then reduce the dependencies
Keep some cash in small denominations, more than one payment method, printed family contacts, a family verification word for suspicious calls, stored water, food you can prepare without normal utilities, and important information available offline.
That is the larger LivSolv idea: do not try to predict exactly what fails. Make sure your family still has options when it does.
